People say believe half of what you see,

  • KOT - Changes: Already regarded as the sequel to 'Finally', this new Sandy Rivera production, with its dark edge, sub-bass, those typical minimal jazz chords and its plaintive male vocal, proves once again that Sandy Rivera truely is a king. This will be BIG!

  • Watch out for the Ricanstruction Mixes of Stephanie Cooke's 'Stay' on King Street Records. Frankie Feliciano is also rumoured to be working on a first solo album.

  • Probably after some legal battle of some sort, Kerri Chandler had to redo the vocals on his remake of the John Lee Hooker Classic Driftin' (Digital Soul 4 - Large Music). Lucky are the ones who managed to get their hands on the promo release which had the John Lee Hooker samples. BAD BAD BAD!

  • Copies of the Classic Earth People - 'Dance' (revisited by the New Jersey king of Drum kicks: Kerri Chandler) seem to be around at the moment so make sure you grab one. A Timmy Regisford's favourite, this track has that 'feel good' factor that is more than likely to blow you into bits and put every exhausted dancers back onto their feet: DANCE!

  • Shaun Escoffery - 'Space Rider' is said to have been given the Dj Spinna treatment, not a bootleg or promo in sight at the minute but this might be worth checking out as Dj Spinna turned 'Days like this' into a dancefloor CLASSIC.

  • A bootleg remix of 'No One' by the soul prodigy Maxwell is regularly shaking the walls at the Shelter. The people behind this are yet to be identified but this can be heard on the flipside of "If I am sexy" by Prince Max.

  • Kevin Hedge (Blaze) and Lil' Louie Vega are both said to have remixed Earth Wind & Fire's 'Can't Hide Love', once you've heard this song and its infectious background vocals, you'll be humming this for days. B A D!

  • Little Louie Vega Featuring Blaze 'Brand New Day' is soon to be released on MAW records. This new joint effort features Alexander Hope's vocals and is already causing great havoc on dancefloors worldwide. This certainly will be the new 'Elements of Life'. HOT!
